Interesting Trail Cam Pictures
Every year that I run trail cameras, it never ceases to amaze me how many interesting things I would miss if I was not using trail cameras. We have been busy planting fall food plots so this week’s blog will contain pictures of all the interesting things from our trail cameras this year.
Here is a bachelor group that came into one of our feeder locations.
Here they are again the next day back for more Supplement Gold.
The same camera captured a sparrow between wing beats and
with a slow shutter speed it appears like it’s pointing in
two different directions.
The timing is perfect for this picture with a firework in the background.
Here is a bobcat we captured on one of our research sites in Nebraska.
The next day, a coyote passed the same camera.
He apparently didn’t like the smell of the bobcat so he
added a bit of his own fragrance to the location.
Six days later a badger came through that area.
Here is a decent buck we had on camera in Nebraska. The
interesting part about this photo is all the stems that show how
much the soybeans have been browsed by deer.
Here is a pic from one of our trail camera survey sites showing
a line of turkeys waiting for the buck to finish his meal.
This picture shows a doe/fawn group and a nice buck at
a feeding site together.
This one was from earlier in the summer and it has a doe
and fawns moving through a bean field with turkeys in the background.
Here is a pic from a Mineral Dirt 180™ site that shows a doe stimulating
her fawn which encourages normal digestive flow. It is ironic
that the fawn is ingesting at the time of the photo.
This buck was also at a Mineral Dirt 180™ site earlier this summer.
