Cody West
Cody West, located in Missouri, has been hunting for 23 years and has been part of the Ani-Logics crew since 2022.
Cody started hunting because his family has always been an outdoors family. Growing up in the rural Ozark hills of southern Missouri he used to roam the countryside as a child daily. Cody was always hunting, fishing, and swimming in the streams. As he grew older, his love for the outdoors continued to grow and he fell in love with any type of outdoor activity, more specifically hunting whitetails.
His best hunting memory is when his cousin asked him to take his daughter along for her first hunt. Before they got to the stand, they jumped a couple of deer. Then they slowly and quietly climbed into the stand only to notice a few more deer still standing about 100 yards away. She took the shot and harvested her first deer. Cody believes that he yelled louder than her in excitement. Cody said, “It was a blast” and cannot wait until his own children harvest their first deer.

Travis Smith
Travis is located in Greencastle, Indiana, and has been hunting for 22 years; he has been part of the Ani-Logics crew since 2021.
Travis started hunting because a lot of his family hunted, so it quickly became a passion of his.
His favorite memory is taking his 4-year-old on her very first hunt and being able to harvest a doe on their first time out. There has never been a more special moment in his life. We get so caught up in the maturity of big bucks that sometimes we forget what truly got us into the sport of hunting. This was such a special moment to see the light on her face during and after the hunt. Something Travis will never forget for the rest of his life.
Favorite thing about Ani-Logics is: “Their passion for the sport. Every person I have talked to has been just as passionate about the outdoors as I am. You can tell that it is not just a job to them. That right there is truly something special! His favorite thing about the products is that they truly work. There are so many products out on the market that you don’t know what to trust or spend your hard-earned money on. This is not the case with Ani-Logics. Favorite Ani-Logics product: “This is tough! My favorite product would have to be The Perfect 10 food plot seed. This blend does such a great job of keeping the deer on my farm from before the start of our archery season all the way into the first couple months of the year. Best all-around food plot seed that I have ever used. If I had to choose a mineral, then it would be the Sugar Beet Crush! The stuff is just flat out amazing, and the deer can’t get away from it!”
Josh Stein
Josh is located in the upper peninsula of Michigan, and has been hunting for 30 years; he has been part of the Ani-Logics crew since 2018.
Josh started hunting because he grew up on a dairy farm in a household where everybody hunts.
His favorite hunt is on YouTube, named ‘The Perfect Storm Upper Peninsula Buck’. Josh has been after an elusive Northwoods buck for years and finally saw him in daylight during incredibly cold and snowy weather.

Because of this, you get better longevity out of the block. In Season: Ani-Protein Block 365. I like to try a variety of flavors, and they all really attract deer. I love these blocks for remote locations, as the blocks have good longevity, and are attractive enough to keep deer coming back.”
Jacob Shockley
Jacob is located in Lincoln County, Missouri, and has been hunting for 16 years; he has been part of the Ani-Logics crew since 2018.
Jacob started hunting and fishing due to his family all participating in those activities and grew up around it. On their family farm they would spend the day shooting firearms, and bows. He remembers being young and walking the wood lines of water sources with his grandfather, finding sticks beavers chewed on and turning them into walking sticks.
Jacob got his first buck at a very young age. He had fallen asleep in the stand with his dad and once woken up, had no clear shot. After his dad moved out of the way he was able to harvest this buck. The buck then fell down a hill and Jacob remembers his dad putting a strap around the deer, so he was able to pull the buck up the hill while grabbing trees to help pull back. Jacob sat there happy as can be. He and his dad still talk about that hunt to this day.
Favorite thing about Ani-Logics is: “Simple, IT WORKS. I started using these products and over the years have witnessed my deer population seem to grow in numbers and the deer are growing in size, too. The attraction is unreal.”
Favorite Ani-Logics product: “Ani-Supplement Gold. It’s very effective and very easy to set up. Throw some bags in your feeder, on the ground, or on a stump. It doesn’t matter! It always helps your deer herd and attracts them.”
Travis Lange
Is located in Minnesota and has been hunting for 35+ years!
How did you get started hunting?
I started hunting as a young boy, following my Dad around the woods, trying to be as quiet as a five or six-year-old boy can be. Hunting has always been a big part of our family tradition. All my uncles, cousins, family friends, and my grandpa would get together to hunt each fall during the firearms season. I remember as a young boy not being able to sleep the night before deer opener. Little did I know, that small flame that would ignite inside me so long ago would turn into a blazing fire as an adult. I purchased a used bow when I was 15 and have been bowhunting ever since. Most recently, my focus has turned to my children and introducing them into the hunting world. My oldest daughter is 13 and already has successfully harvested three great bucks and two turkeys. She is working hard to be ready for the bow season this fall to try and fill her first archery tag. My twins are 9 and are telling me it’s their turn to fill a turkey tag. My wife and I recently purchased our own piece of property and are excited to start improving the habitat with all sorts of projects this spring and summer.
What is your best hunting memory or favorite story?
Over the last three years, I’ve had a lot of best memories and stories. Watching my daughter get excited to go turkey hunting in the early morning hours and start to make memories of her own is so incredibly rewarding. I was with her when she shot her first turkey and I have been at her side to witness all her exciting hunts. One thing I truly love about hunting is how it affects each person in their own unique way. I see that passion burning bright in my daughter and I hope to ignite those flames in my younger children. Even my wife, who has never hunted a day in her life, now has her own bow and enjoys shooting with the kids. Our summer family vacations are centered around where we are going to shoot the Total Archery Challenge that year. To step back and see this all developing from a father’s and husband’s perspective is the greatest accomplishment of my hunting career.
What is your favorite thing about Ani-Logics?
My favorite thing about Ani-Logics is the science behind the product. I’ve always been a gear nut. I read hundreds of reviews, I search for products that are made by small businesses and aren’t necessarily the norm. I’ve been fortunate to meet some great folks in the industry by simply looking outside the box. I feel Ani-Logics does just that…takes things a step or two further. Their products aren’t run-of-the-mill stuff. Every product they produce is for a specific purpose and not just another name brand on the shelf.
Favorite Ani-Logics product and why?
I have used the minerals and attractants. I like to place a mineral block in the center of the stations I create, then I use loose minerals on top and around the block. If you mix a little soil into the blend, you’ll have yourself an irresistible set-up. With our new farm purchase, I am super excited to try the many different food plot mixes. The CRUSH Perfect 10 and the Crush Soybeans are two I have been anxious to try.
Nate Saunders
Is located in Tennessee and has been hunting for 15 years!
How did you get started?
It is a family tradition to be out in a tree stand every November for opening rifle day. My grandfather helped me get my first deer at 10 years old and since then I have shared the same passion for hunting.
What is your best hunting memory or favorite story?
My best hunting story would be back in 2021. I had yet to have the chance let alone see a trophy buck while hunting. 2021 was my first year hunting in TN. It was the last day of muzzleloader (day before opening rifle and I decide to scout). I decided to take my muzzleloader with me still because “just in case.” Well, “just in case” happened. A mature 10-point walks out 125 yards over my left shoulder chasing a doe. I pull up and took the shot. Assuming it was close to hundred yards. Buck did not go down immediately and it was getting dark. Pin drops of blood were found 20 yards from where I shot. I was nervous I had wounded a deer and would not see it again. After about 1.5 hours of searching in the dark, I found a nice 10-point laying on its side 70 yards from where I shot. The best part of this moment was I was able to share it with my grandfather. He has helped me get my first buck and now my biggest buck.
What is your favorite thing about Ani-Logics?
My favorite thing would have to be the science behind the products made. As a software engineer by trade, I appreciate the level of research and attention to detail that has gone into creating a healthy mineral feed for deer.
Kyndel Hagedorn
Is from Missouri and has been hunting for 13 years! She’s also a trip coordinator for HerWilderness who runs all types of outdoor trips from waterfowl hunting, camping trips, and running a doe hunt this coming December.
How did you get started hunting?
My dad taught me how to rifle hunt when I was 11 years old. At 16, I started to teach myself about bow hunting and my love and knowledge has continued to grow since then.
What is your best hunting memory or favorite story?
One of my best hunting memories is when I took my daughter doe hunting with me last season. We got to the stand late, she was loud and didn’t sit still, yet we were still able to harvest a doe. Even though the hunt wasn’t perfect, the memories were.
What is your favorite thing about Ani-Logics?
My favorite thing about Ani-Logics is that you can see their passion for wildlife health through their products!
Justin Williams
Justin is from Ohio and has been hunting for 24 years!
“I started at a young age going deer hunting with my father, I would take my B.B. gun and pretend I was shooting deer. I finally got my first gun for Christmas, a Remington .410, that spring I killed my first turkey and I’ve been hooked ever since.
My favorite hunting memory was opening day of gun season in Ohio, in 1999. I was going deer hunting for my first time. I got hungry so I walked to my father to get a snack and as I was walking back I heard a stick break. I looked up to see the biggest deer ever. He stopped right behind a tree and it felt like I was holding my gun up forever. He finally took one step and I shot…he fell right in his tracks. Still to this day it is my second biggest deer. A 140″ 9 point.
My favorite thing about Ani-Logics is how they make sure they have everything they need in their products to keep the deer herd healthy.
It’s hard to pick just one favorite product but id say the Ani-Mineral Block, it holds up in the rain and lasts a while. The deer love it!”
Jay Tarble
Jay is located in Illinois and has been hunting for 34 years!
“I always wanted to go deer hunting as a child, but nobody in my family hunted. My parents did not allow me to deer hunt during gun season by myself when I was young because of the vast number of firearm hunters in the woods around our rural community. The woods were empty during bow season, so I figured I just needed to learn how to shoot a bow. The following year all I asked for at Christmas was a Bear compound bow. I taught myself how to shoot and I killed my first deer the following fall. I’ve been hooked on archery deer hunting ever since and have not missed an Illinois archery season in 34 years.
My favorite hunting memory was the 2021 archery season because it was the most successful season that I have had and it included one of my sons harvesting his largest whitetail to date, also. My son Noah, who was 16 at the time, talked me into entering the Quest Online Deer Tournament. We had some lofty goals for the season as each of us were targeting deer that would qualify for the Boone and Crocket record books.
My favorite thing about Ani-Logics is the passion I sense while talking with their employees about deer and deer hunting. Their passion is evident in the products they stand behind with the common goal of healthier whitetail deer.
My favorite product from Ani-Logics is their annual soybean blend. Soybeans are the backbone of my food plot program. Choosing the right blend of maturity and forage characteristics is the key to successful summer and fall plots. I have total confidence in the team at Ani-Logics.”
Erin DeMase
Erin is located in Pennsylvania and has been hunting for 12 years!!
“I have always enjoyed the outdoors, I remember as a kid my dad would wake me up early in the mornings and drive me to my uncle’s house, so they could go hunting together. I loved when they came back with a harvest and got involved in processing deer at a young age. When I met my husband, he began to mentor me and I would go on hunts accompanying him and learning from him. Eventually, I gained enough knowledge and confidence from him and I started going out hunting on my own. My first ever kill was with a bow and from there on I was instantly hooked.
The best memory I have hunting would have to be from fall of 2022 archery season. I had just shot my biggest buck to date and watched him go down in about 200 acres of bean field. I called to tell my husband that he was down, and when he arrived we began to track him. It was dark and I lost my direction from where I saw him fall. Just when I was getting worried we wouldn’t find him until daylight, my husband yells to me “Here he is!” I ran through the bean field and jumped on my husband It was such a relief and following relief was just pure excitement to see my buck up close and personal.
My favorite thing about Ani-Logics is that their products keep the deer herds healthy, providing healthy immune systems, quicker recovery times, and overall better health of deer population.
My favorite product would have to be the Mineral Dirt 180, the mineral dirt blends in with the ground or a rotten tree stump making it the most natural way possible for deer to get their nutrients.”

Lexi Ross
Lexi is from Minnesota and has been hunting for 21 years, her whole life!
How did you get started?
My dad has always been an avid hunter, he started taking me with him before I could even walk.
What is your best hunting memory or favorite story?
My favorite hunting memory would have to be the first deer I ever shot with my bow when I was 12 years old. We were out by a waterway sitting in a homemade ground blind and an 8-point buck came in perfectly broadside at 15 yards. My dad was so proud, and he got to watch the whole thing go down!
What is your favorite thing about Ani-Logics?
The products are great and bring in a lot of deer to our stand locations. To top it off, my dad works at the company that makes some of the blocks!
Favorite product and why?
My favorite product that we use when we put our cameras out in July is the Ani-Mineral Blocks. They last a great period of time, and the deer always seem to love them.
Jacob Olofson
Jacob is located in Texas and has been hunting for 26 years, his whole life!
What is your best hunting memory or favorite story?
My favorite memory was my first buck I harvested with my dad in California. My friend told me about a couple bucks hanging out on a certain rice field on his property he wanted me to go after it. As we were walking down a trail towards the rice field at sunrise, a buck quickly ran across the trail in front of us. The first buck did not present me with a clean shot and got away. A second buck followed the first buck but stopped on the trail in front of us. The second buck stopped about 60 yards away giving me a perfect broadside shot. I pulled back the hammer on my 30-30 level action with iron sights and pulled the trigger. The buck immediately dropped to the ground, stood back up, and took two more steps before expiring. I was so excited after watching the buck drop, I wanted to run after him to put my hands on him. My dad advised we wait a few minutes before chasing after the buck (the right call). It was a double lung shot on a 2×3 mule deer. It was my first buck and I was blessed to share this memory with my dad.
What is your favorite thing about Ani-Logics?
I love the quality of the products Ani-Logics produces at a great price. I also love the diversity of different products they produce for every hunter’s needs for a better deer herd. It really is a one-stop shop when it comes to growing big and healthy deer herds.
I really like the CRUSH whitetail deer sugar beet attractant. The deer really eat this stuff up like candy and love it. I really notice a difference when I use CRUSH versus not having it with me in the woods.
Dylan Askew

Collin Riley

Years you have been hunting: 24 years
How did you get started? I started hunting at the age of 3 when my dad took me on a duck hunt to North Dakota. We’ve always had a strong hunting culture in my family and after getting my start in waterfowl, I quickly wanted to expand into all types of hunting that I could. As a native of Minnesota, firearm deer season is practically a holiday with a strong cultural tradition. My family is no different and I quickly fell in love with deer hunting. Once I deer hunted more, I became captivated with big bucks, and I dedicated my life to pursuing and hunting big mature whitetails.
What is your best hunting memory or favorite story? My favorite hunting memory has to be my first season of hunting Iowa as an Iowa resident. There isn’t a feeling in the world like being set up in a tree with a bow in your hand in the land of giants. It’s by no means easy, but the feeling of knowing at any moment a true world-class whitetail could appear and give you a shot isn’t like anything else in the world.
What is your favorite thing about Ani-Logics? My favorite thing about Ani-Logics must be all the science that goes into the creation of products. Some other companies are in it just to sell products, but Ani-Logics is not that way. Everything that has the Ani-Logics name on it has been tested repeatedly to ensure it is the best product available to increase your herds health and make them the healthiest they can possibly be. No other company does what Ani-Logics does for deer health and nutrition!
Favorite product and why? My favorite products are the Ani-Mineral Block and the Supplement Gold. Ani-Logics supplements and minerals, in my opinion, are the best in the whole industry. How did you get started?
Started shotgun hunting deer in Minnesota with my dad, then waterfowl hunting. In 2020, I started bowhunting and have been hooked ever since.
