CRUSH® The Perfect 10
Overview
If you want a highly attractive food plot that will bring in deer throughout the entire hunting season, look no further than the Perfect 10. Deer are constantly seeking the most attractive food sources in their home range, and the only way to keep them coming back all season is to offer a diverse buffet of highly attractive forages. This blend has 10 different annuals that were hand-picked by Lee Lakosky to be the most effective fall food plot you can plant.
The three types of cereal grains are the first to come up and be selected by deer, and as the season progresses, the Crimson Clover and Winter Peas are eaten next. For the late season, there are big leafy tops with the Forage Collards, Trophy Rape, with high tonnage tubers in the Purple Top Turnips, Radishes, and Sugar Beets. This blend can be hunt ready within 3 weeks of planting.
For best results, plant 6-8 weeks before the average first frost. Here is a handy frost calculator to know when to plant: https://www.almanac.com/gardening/frostdates
Time planting so there is a good soaking rain within 10 days of planting. This will ensure timely germination and prevent seed loss to turkeys and other birds. We recommend having soil pH between 6.0-7.5 for this product. Without a soil test, we recommend putting 75 lbs of 13-13-13 per ¼ acre.
