CRUSH® Road Block
Overview
Do you wish you could create a barrier that deer and people couldn’t see through? CRUSH Road Block does just that! Planted 10 feet wide, you can make up to a 367 yard barrier that will grow up to 12-feet tall. This can be used to limit visibility of your plot from a roadway or improve access to the plot so you can get in and out without deer knowing you were ever there. This is an annual screen that if you don’t like where you planted, simply adjust the following season. Road Block can also be planted in the middle of a field to create a pinch point which forces deer into easy range from your stand or blind.
For best results, plant after the threat of frost has passed. Here is a handy link to knowing when frost is done in your area: https://www.almanac.com/gardening/frostdates
We suggest planting it to a max depth of ½ inch. If broadcast seeding, make sure to lightly cover up seeds so they are not left exposed on top of the soil. Time planting so there is a good soaking rain within 10 days of planting. This will ensure timely germination and prevent seed loss to turkeys and other birds. We recommend having soil pH between 6.0-7.5 for this product. Follow soil test for fertilizer application, but in lieu of a soil test, we recommend putting 100 lbs of 13-13-13 per ¼ acre.
