CRUSH® Pro Bean Blend
Overview
Deer LOVE soybeans at all times of the year. Give your herd the nutrients they need to be healthy and grow BIG antlers with the Pro Bean Blend. This blend has a mix of soybean maturities, meaning some plants maximize forage while others maximize pod yield. It's the best of both worlds in terms of attraction and nutrition. The later maturities will stay green to the end of the growing season, which is a time when deer can be highly predictable and still on their summer patterns. As the temperatures drop, deer will seek carbohydrates and high-energy food sources which the pods provide. These are shatter-resistant varieties, so you don't have to worry about losing pods to weathering.
For best results, plant after the threat of frost has passed. Soybeans have a long planting window and can be planted into June in the Northern US and into July in the Southern US. We suggest planting to a depth of 1 inch. If broadcast seeding, make sure to cover up seeds so they are not left exposed on top of the soil.
Time planting so there is a good soaking rain within 10 days of planting. This will ensure timely germination and prevent seed loss to turkeys and other birds. We recommend having soil pH between 6.0-7.5 for this product. Without a soil test, we recommend putting 300 lbs of 13-13-13 per acre.
